Day 1: Rainbow Beach to Fraser Island
Get picked up from your Rainbow Beach accommodation and take a ferry across to the World Heritage sand island that is Fraser Island. Today you will get to have a swim infamous Lake McKenzie, visit the historical heart of the island - Central Station and the rainforest boardwalk, see ancient King Ferns at Wanggoolba Creek, visit Pile Valley's famous Satinay trees and trek to Basin Lake which is perched high in the dunes.

Day 2: Fraser Island to Rainbow Beach
Today we discover the ocean highway of 75-Mile Beach and it's famous icon of the SS Maheno Shipwreck, swim in crystal-clear Eli Creek with ocean views, visit The Pinnacles Coloured Sands where you learn about local mythology, climb Indian Head for Fraser Island's most spectacular views, experience the natural rock pool jacuzzis at Champagne Pools plus time for an optional joy flight with Air Fraser taking off right from the beach. Take the ferry back to the mainland and be dropped at your accommodation around 6pm (times vary due to tides and accommodation in Rainbow Beach not included, at own cost)

What to bring
Pack a day bag with swimmers, towel, hat, sunscreen, insect repellent, comfortable walking shoes or sandals, sunglasses, essential medication and don’t forget your camera. We do provide water, but a water bottle is always handy.
Eurong Beach Resort offers quad, triple, twin and single motel rooms or two bedroom apartments. Each room has a private ensuite, kitchenette, TV and private deck. The resort offers many facilities for guest use however, at the end of the day the best place to unwind is at the Beach Bar, otherwise you can go for a stroll and watch a magical sunset over the Pacific Ocean.
